Where Do I Start?

Well, if you wanted a blog with plenty of pictures, you got it with this one. We have had so much going on lately, and I have quite a few pictures to show it.
We finally got our boat up and running for the first time this year, and we are so excited about that. Last year McClain really just slept any time we were on it, but this year he loved it- he especially loved driving it!
Then, on Memorial Day weekend, we went camping at Fall Creek Falls for the first time this year as well. McClain was so much fun with that. He got so excited when Tim finished setting up the tent, and he loved climbing in and out of it. On Memorial Day, my parents drove up with my niece and nephew and met us for the day. We went hiking, swimming, rode bikes, and grilled out. It was an awesome day for us all.
Also, that weekend, McClain and I drove to Murfreesboro for a graduation party. My best friend since forever's little sister was graduating from high school, so we went down there to celebrate with them. It was alot of fun because I was able to see Sara's family again as well as many other people from high school. And, of course, they loved being able to spend some time with McClain.
Tonight we spent some time with our good friends, the Sciortino's, and McClain and Campbell had a blast riding Campbell's artic cat together. If McClain looks a little scared in the picture, it's because he was...Campbell was a crazy driver! :)
All in all, we have been so busy, but it's been a great blessing. We have been able to spend a lot of time with friends and family, and we couldn't ask for more.

Monkey's Treehouse

Yesterday was a rainy day, so Mom and I took McClain and my niece, Hannah, to the Monkey's Treehouse to play. They play so well together and had a great time. You gotta love an indoor playplace when you can't get outside with a toddler!

The Life

I just want to put in a small note about how wonderful Tim's job is. He has been in the banking business for 5 years now, and although every position he has held has been a tremendous blessing, the one he holds now is pretty special. In addition to making his own "banker's hours", and the wonderful people he works with, he even gets to do quite a bit of elbow rubbing with the stars, which is a pretty nice perk. Here are a few pics from a recent dinner he attended for the bank in which he met a lot of country music stars and numerous Titans. We didn't get too many pictures, but here are a few. I would mention a few of his famous clients, but I am sworn to secrecy! Actually, I don't even get to know them all, but that's okay...I guess. For those of you who are not country music fans- these pictures are of John Rich and 2-foot Fred (both of Big and Rich), Danielle Peck, Jay DeMarcus (of Rascal Flatts), and Phil Vasser. And yes, scroll on down to see some recent pictures of McClain.

Carnival

I thought I would post a few pictures from the last month or so since I haven't blogged in so long. A few weeks ago, Tim's brother and his family came to visit. We couldn't find McClain or his cousin, Nathan, and I finally found them playing in the laundry basket in McClain's room. I can't wait to see all the trouble those two get into one day. Some of the other pictures are of the carnival we went to tonight. McClain loved riding the rides, and he was especially excited when his big, strong daddy won him a blue, blowup guitar when he threw the sledgehammer down to ring the bell in just one swing! McClain is at such a fun age right now and Tim and I just love spending time with him everyday. We are so blessed.

Still Here

Just wanted to let everyone know that all is well, and we are still here! Sorry for the lack of blog updates lately. We've just been so busy with the house, sinus infections, etc. that I haven't hardly been able to slow down. Sorry! I hope to post more soon...
