Okay, so I am seriously going to try to get back on this blog. But, it's been so long, this will be a little jumbled. Easton was born on May 2, and is the most precious baby we could ever ask for. And, of course, McClain is already a fabulous big brother! McClain started day school two days a week and is loving it. Everything is going really well- it's just going by way too fast! Here are some pics of the last few months. By the way, the order is backwards -sorry it was just way too much to try to fix- at least I got them up here in the first place!

Lately

More has happened than I can even mention since it's been so long. We only have 5 weeks left until baby Easton's arrival, so we have been really busy preparing for that. We almost have his room ready (I'll post pics when it's done), and hopefully in the next couple of weeks we'll find McClain's itty bitty baby clothes and get those in the drawer for his baby brother. How nice it is to be having another boy! Other than that, we have taken a trip to St. Louis to visit Tim's grandfather, planted a very large vegetable garden, completely revamped the front flower bed (and when I say revamped, I mean a bobcat and 6 trailers full of dirt- I'll post those pics later as well), and are getting ready to take McClain on his last hoo-rah with Mom and Dad, to Disneyworld, this week. Oh, and did I mention that McClain is potty-trained- since March. Note the Elmo underwear pics. He insisted on wearing his Superman hat as well in those potty celebration pics. Life has been crazy and exciting, but we are having a blast!

So, it's been a while...

I know, a long while. And really too much has happened in the last three months to even try to catch anybody up. But, to summarize, we have traveled some, done some major remodeling on our house, and found out that baby #2 is a boy. Easton James will be the official name when he arrives (East was my mom's maiden name and James is Tim's great-grandfather's name). Here are some pictures to highlight the last three months the best I can. Our computer and camera both broke around in October, which is the main reason I got so behind on my blogging. But I promise to post more consistently from now on!

Big News

That's right- we're expecting Bewley baby #2! We went to the doctor yesterday and got our first ultrasound done. Everything looks great, and we were able to see the heartbeat very clearly. McClain kept crawling up on the bed to look at the monitor and kept saying, "Hi baby!" So cute... he's going to be a great big brother. The due date is set for May 13, and we are all so excited. As if our house wasn't loud enough already!

"I Two"

These were the precious words that continuously rang in our heads all weekend- that's right, my little man actually turned 2 years old on Sunday. And he loved to talk about it. We had a Mickey Mouse party at our house on Saturday that was wonderful. McClain got so many great presents- including his first tricycle from my parents! Sunday after church we took him to his favorite restaurant...get this...Chili's. The kid loves it. It was a great birthday weekend. Then, today, we were playing with play-dough, and he started making fake mustaches and putting them on his face. I guess they grow up too quick! Happy Birthday McClain!!! Thanks for giving us another year of happiness, laughter, and love beyong anything we could have ever imagined.
