Hook 'Em

Yes, Tim is already trying to turn McClain into a Longhorns fan. This morning he put his Texas toboggan on McClain, and I have to admit, he looked pretty good in it. I am alright with him wearing any orange- Texas or Tennessee- just as long as he doesn't get crazy and wear the reds- namely, Arkansas or Oklahoma. That's wear we...as a family...just have to draw the line. By the way, the second picture is McClain doing his "touchdown" move. He knows to throw his hands up when we say the word "touchdown"!

Whitfield Farm

This weekend, our life group from church spent some time together at the Whitfield's farm. We spent the night there Friday night and played for most of the day on Saturday before returning home around 4:00. We had such a great time riding 4-wheelers, playing outside, and target shooting (well, the guys did that one). Best of all, we all got to know each other even better than we did before. Thanks to David, Sara, and Tay-Tay for opening up their family's farm to us all!

Weekend in Arkansas

This weekend we went to Arkansas for Homecoming at Harding. We are on the President's Council for Harding, so we try to make it back at least once a year to participate in some of the meetings that are held on special occasions. This year, though, we never made it to a single meeting or even the Homecoming game. We ended up just spending the majority of our time with Tim's brother and his family in Little Rock. That's more important (and fun) anyways! We did make it to Searcy Friday night, though, to eat dinner with Tim's close friend Jon Holman and his wife, Catie. It was great to see them- and our family- and spend some quality time together. And, yes, Halloween pics are finally here...just scroll on down.

Halloween 2007

Okay, due to specific requests, here are some pictures from McClain's Halloween fun. Sorry it took so long- I was waiting on my sister to give me some pictures that she took of McClain in his costume with his cousins, but it was taking a little long, so here's some that I took on other nights. Saturday night we went to the zoo with our friends, Eric and Holly Cromwell and their little girl Lydia. The kids had a great time, especially on the haunted hayride. Sunday night we did trunk or treating at our church, and Wednesday night we did it at my parents' church. McClain was a little overwhelmed by all the costumes and decorations he saw, but he still had a great time through it all. He just recently started walking, too, so that made my life much easier as we went around to the different trunks. Enjoy the pictures!

Sullivan Miracle

For those of you who have been keeping up with the Sullivan family and lifting up their babies in prayer to God, let me say once again how grateful I am on their behalf. Mark recently sent us the MRI pictures of Ruthie's brain to let us see how incredible the miracle truly was. Here are the before and after shots- taken one week apart. Maddie's MRI results looked pretty much the same. The white spots in the first picture are the areas of brain damage. Notice how much damage there actually was and how there is practically none in the second shot. It's amazing how completely God healed them. Remember, the doctors said they have never seen damage clear up like it did for Ruthie and Maddie. Praise God for his amazing power!
